Using the Height Calculator
Enter the full height in centimeters. The converter divides by 2.54 to find inches, then separates complete groups of twelve inches into feet. The remaining inches may include a decimal; they are not rounded to a whole inch.

Method and assumptions
1 inch = 2.54 cm; 12 inches = 1 foot. This is a unit converter, not a prediction of adult height.
Convert the quantity, not just the number
A unit conversion should preserve the underlying quantity. Start by identifying what is being measured: length, area, volume, mass, temperature or a rate. Similar unit names do not always imply the same conversion rule. Keep the destination unit attached to the answer so the converted number is not later mistaken for an input in the original unit.
Common question
Can this predict a child's adult height?
No. This page converts units only. It does not use age, parental heights or growth measurements, and it does not predict future height. The output changes only because the same entered length is expressed in another unit.
