Using the Long Division Calculator
The relationship dividend = divisor × quotient + remainder lets you verify the answer. This page gives the result rather than drawing a traditional long-division worksheet.

Method and assumptions
Exact integer arithmetic. Division returns an integer quotient and remainder; binary and hexadecimal inputs are unsigned.
Keep exact values exact
Whole-number problems often need an exact answer rather than a rounded decimal. Check the permitted range and input notation before pasting a large number. A leading minus sign, a decimal point or a base prefix can change whether an entry is valid. Where the tool returns an exact integer or factorization, preserve that form for later calculations.
Common question
Can the divisor be zero?
No. Division by zero is undefined, and the calculator rejects it rather than returning a quotient.
